Please forgive the excess of exclamation points, but one just doesn't convey my enthusiasm for what I'm about to tell you. The Motherhood, in conjunction with the blog Been There, is giving away not one, but TWO Wii Consoles and Wii Fit games.
I realize that this is the Internet, where people are constantly offering you twelve dollar Rolex watches and Viagra and $250 Target gift cards every time you turn around. But I am no spambot, my friends, and neither are Cooper and Emily, of the websites listed above. They are the mothers and activists the rest of us aspire to be, and sometimes they get some really cool stuff to give away, and this is one of those times.
Here's what you have to do. Visit Been There to read the complete rules of the contest, and create a blog post (or, if you have no blog, a comment on Been There) telling your own "Been There" fitness story. It can be funny, it can be inspiring, as long as it's yours and it's true. Cooper and Emily, dears that they are, even provide a list of potential topics to get you started.
But GET STARTED! The contest ends May 30, 2008, and the winner will be announced a few days later. The only rule Emily and Cooper don't list on their website is that you have to invite me over to play all the time if you win, and you can't tell me I look chunky in my yoga pants. Even if it's true.

It is rare that a blogger credibly manages to cram the words "chunky," "spam," AND "Viagra" into a single post. Verily, I salute you.

Nervous Girl! I can relate! Hey, thanks for saying hi on my blog...I loved your comment about raising the tiny white arm to say, "Power to the people!" at a book signing.

What now that you are nationally published you can't write for your true fans? I think I will not read your blog anymore (or at least until you post again)...
