Tomorrow
Tomorrow, Susan is having a double mastectomy. Pray for her, for health, for reassurance for her family, for wisdom, skill and compassion for her medical team. Pray for a speedy, comfortable and full recovery.
And in case you were wondering, this is what it looks like when someone is fixing to kick cancer's ass with steel-toed boots:
Just because you're getting ready to kick cancer's ass, doesn't mean you can't do it with a smile.

Would that we could all chip in and give a kick too!

Just to let you know, Toad put your blog on our prayerchain yesterday so hopefully Susan will be getting a lot of Orthodox prayers. I Know she's had mine.

That woman's got the whole internet praying for her today, I think. God's gotta hear that.
(I'll be back later for the other posts)

I'm praying for her speedy recovery. Cancer is very much on my mind this week as my dad recovers from his cancer related surgery. Tomorrow, I'm donating platelets for some cancer patient who needs them.
